Can I set up a Business Profile?
Via is no longer providing rides in New York City. If you have any questions, please see our FAQ page here.
Via offers the option to set up a Personal and a Business Profile. You can set up a Business Profile in the app under Menu - Billing. Simply enter your workplace e-mail address (or your employer's e-mail address) where you would like your Business Profile ride receipts to be sent.
You will then be able to select a default payment method from the cards you already have on file, or by adding a new payment method (including your employer's corporate card). You'll be able to switch between your Business and Personal profile when booking a ride.
Note: When riding under your Business Profile, you will not be able to use your ViaPass, Commuter Benefits card, or any existing Ride Credit. Rides taken under your Business Profile will be charged directly to the default payment method on your Business Profile.
We accept credit and debit cards, and Google Pay as a form of payment. We do not accept pre-paid debit cards.
